entomology
I have made it a hobby of late to collect and observe various large terrestrial arthropods. Recent additions to my giant millipede include a Rosehair Tarantula, a juvenile Starburst Tarntula, an Emperor Scorpion, 6 adult Stick Insects, and, my favorite, a Hong Kong Giant Centipede. Though they require a certain amount of upkeep, they are well worth the effort. Future hopefuls include a Chinese mantis, a Goliath bird-eating tarantula, a Goliath stick insect, and if I'm quite lucky, a Giant isopod.
